Class information for 2018.

Classes are held on a Tuesday Night, starting time is 5.30pm

All equipment is provided for use on the night.

All cakes and cookies are provided for classes unless otherwise stated.

Students get to take home their finished goods.

 The cost is $100.00 per class, except for class number 6 which is $130.00 as the cost of materials are higher

The classes take approximately 3 hours each session

1.Beginners Cup cake class: learn how to pipe and decorate 6 cup cakes with buttercream, pipe flowers and swirls, make small fondant flowers and small toppers to place on cupcakes.

The class includes making icing, piping techniques and simple cut out decorations, ideal for the beginner who hasn’t had any experience using icing.

2. Intermediate Cup Cake class: Learn to cover 6 cup cakes with fondant using different  techniques, such as stenciling, embossing, brush embroidery and hand piping. These cup cakes are for formal occasions where an elegant detailed finish is required.

3.Cookie class: Decorate 8 cookies using both flood work and fondant.  During the class we make royal icing for piping 4 cookies. The rest are iced using RTR icing which are stenciled, impressed with patterns using embossing tools and hand cut decorations.

4. Advanced wired flower class: This class includes making petals for a Peony and assembling the finished petals. We also make other flowers using the same method but using different shaped cutters such as the Orchids and Lillies. Flowers are assembled and dusted with colour.

5.Piped Buttercream cakes and flowers:

Learn how to make a crusting buttercream and pipe various ruffles and textures etc around a dummy cake, this class also includes piped roses, ranunculus, daisies and succulents.

6. Ganaching and covering a cake: This class includes a 6” cake, board, Ganache and icing to cover the cake. Learn the techniques and tricks to create a perfectly finished fondant iced cake.* $130.00

NOTE: All  classes are approximately 3 hours long, I provide everything that you need to use on the day and you get to take home your finished products.


A 50% non refundable deposit is required at least one week prior to the lesson. A lot of preparation and planning is put into holding such classes so bookings and deposits are essential.
