Instructions
Preheatoven to 160°Cfor 15 minutes.
In a large bowl, beat the sugar, salt, treacle or golden syrup, ginger and butterwith an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and mix until mixture forms a thick dough.
Place on floured work surface. Roll out to about 3mm thickness and cut into desiredshapes.
Place on a baking tray and bake in a moderate (160° fan forced) ovenfor 25-30 minutes or until firm to touch (dough will firm up as it cools).
